Steve McCurry has been one of the most iconic voices in contemporary photography for more than 30 years. During this time, McCurry has produced over a dozen books, and had numerous exhibitions around the world to his name.
Steve will be signing his new, 252-page book, Animals, on Thursday, January 23 at Coe + Co Photography Gallery, 217 Royal Poinciana Way from 5 to 8 p.m. In addition to a selection of works from his Animals series, the iconic Afghan Girl and other classic photos from his remote travels will be on display.
“From an elephant lovingly resting on his master’s shoulder to a dog led through the rubbles of Kabul on the back of a bicycle; these images by Steve McCurry tell a thousand stories, each a touching tribute to the creatures who share our planet. The legendary photographer presents his favorite shots of animals in this kaleidoscopic collection ranging from Asia to South America, the United States to Europe.”
